Love Your Body, Baby


You are what you eat.  We won’t argue with this.  Don’t be fake, easy or cheap.  Good advice, yes?

Don’t be fake, beautiful

This sign made me smile.  Half a block later I was still smiling so I went back and took a picture to share with y’all.

As beautiful as you are there is always room for improvement, but that doesn’t mean we have to be artificial.  Don’t be fake, baby; embrace who you are and let your beauty shine.

Don’t be easy, darlin’

Maybe good advice, but I’ll disagree.  It’s okay to be easy, darlin’!  Live your life on purpose, create your opportunities, seize the moments and don’t take your eyes off your goals.

Despite our best planning and diligence, sometimes life happens beyond our control.  Ride the waves of the unexpected, sidestep falling pianos; breathe and relax.  Stress is a killer.  Be easy.  Your body will love you.

Don’t be cheap, honey

Treasure your body and be aware of the junk.  By cheap, I mean the junk/fake/low-nutrient ingredients not the price tag.

Once in a while, where possible, trade the Doritos for an apple, a fruit cup or a fresh salad.  I love Doritos so I understand the challenge!  These small changes add up.  One extra salad a day, a week, is one extra real serving of vitamins and minerals.

Love your body

You are what you eat, so be aware of your choices.  Love your body, live your life, enjoy treats, and make changes where possible.  Start small if a lifestyle overhaul is too much right now.

Be easy but don’t be cheap, baby!

All we have to remember is this:  Be easy but don’t be cheap.  And, smile because you’re beautiful!

    Mass media today sends out so many confusing messages, it is no wonder why so many people have body image issues.

    We are all perfect with our imperfections. That’s what makes us human!
