Feeling stressed? At the very end of your wits? Has everything come crashing down around you?
Every little thing is going to be alright. Centre yourself and you’ll see.
How? Words are easy-peasy!
By squaring your breathing, babycakes.
4 Steps to Square Breathing
- Inhale to the count of four.
- Hold to the count of four.
- Exhale to the count of four.
- Hold to the count of four.
Clear your mind. Breathe into yourself.
Repeat as needed.
Beautifully simple, beautifully effective.
Every little thing is going to be alright. You have everything you need, baby.

Danica, have you ever heard of, or tried, the 4-7-8 breathing exercise (who comes up with these numbers)? Certainly not a square, but effective, nonetheless, babycakes.

Kevin, I haven’t heard of or tried it — but I like it! Breathing in a triangle! That count would effectively slow your breathing (and probably thoughts as well), wouldn’t it?
Thank you very much for sharing, babycakes. 🙂
