The boy with the Southern accent
Listening to his heart
Without a shadow of a doubt
Waiting is the hardest part
An American girl
A face in the crowd
Learning to fly
Dragging her heart around
Take it easy, baby
Make it last
Make it last all night
Make it last all night
Running down her dream
Free falling
Straight into darkness
Free falling
You don’t know how it feels
I need to know
I need to know
Crawling back to you
You wreck me, baby
I should have known it
Breakdown
Breakdown
In the lonesome sundown
He was her saving grace
The best of everything
Make it better
Make it last
Love is a long road
Echo on a crystal river
Into the great wide open
Make it better
Make it last
Time to move on
Change of heart
To a higher place
Dreamville
Dreamville
It’ll all work out
Wild one, forever
It’ll all work out
Wild one, forever
Last night
Last dance
Make it last
Wild one, forever
Last night
Last dance
Make it last
Make it last all night
Wild one, forever
Wild one, forever

A beautiful tribute to an artist who will be sorely missed. Only saw him in concert once but at least I got to be in the same room with him & his amazing band.

Thank you, Rich. That means a lot to me. I almost didn’t post this because I didn’t think it was good enough and I wanted to spend more time on it. Then I decided a tribute is better sooner rather than later, so here it is.
I’m glad you had that concert experience. His talent was amazing, and The Heartbreakers are pretty good too. 🙂

No worries Danica…
I watched most of that last Petty show in LA and right at the end he signed some stuff for people in the front row which when watching this is pretty neat to see…

That must have been great. I’ll have to watch it sometime.
