Have Yourself a Good Day, Baby!

“How was your day?”

“Well, nothing exploded.” Contemplation. “So, it was a good day.”

“That’s setting the bar low!” Laughter.

Sometimes it needs to be adjusted. Then, re-adjusted.

Have yourself a good day, baby. Adjust expectations as needed.

      1. “…drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry…”

I know how you feel Don. I feel dry too. I may have to drink some whiskey and rye (I always thought they were the same thing)

At least this’ll not be the day that I die.

        1. Haha πŸ™‚ mentioning that whiskey and rye are the same thing in certain drinking establishments will distract you from the pain of your loss.

By the way, I like smoke and lightning, heavy metal thunder. Racin’ with the wind, and the feelin’ that I’m under.

          1. He is 14 and sleeps and eats, she is 11 months and is more hyper than any dog I’ve ever seen! He is slow to warm but getting there. She hangs on me during the day and he’s jealous. I try to sneak and pet him and out of nowhere here she comes. She’s very smart, we’re fortunate she lived in a foster home before we adopted her. They did an amazing job. How’s you baby? He hasn’t been blogging lately, got a girlfriend? πŸ™‚
